I have been following this whole Beanie Sigel vs Jay-Z thing for a while.  It got real interesting when 50 Cent was thrown into the mix.  Now there is an official song with Beanie Sigel and 50 Cent which is serving a duel purpose as speaker melter and Jay-Z diss track.  Reminds me of the Hip Hop's golden era.  Remember where you heard it first!

K&B OF THE DAY: BOONDOCKS S WORD EPISODE

 


I'm a late bloomer as far as the Boondocks goes.  I saw one of the cartoons in the funnies section and didn't like what I read so I wrote them off for a lot of years.  I've been enjoying the series ever since.  Although I think of myself as more of a Riley person than a Huey person I think this is an important episode.  It deals with the N-word, the politics around justice and the misconception that a lot of people give off.  Plus it features one of my rivals Ann Coulter.  Enjoy!

Never do I condone black on black violence especially when it ends in a fatality. With that being said I do love a competitive contact sport, which is why I love Hip Hop. Beans once the muscles of the lucrative empire that made Jay-Z one of the most recognizable faces to ever exist in Hip Hop, Rocafella Records. I can identify with this diss record because it felt more like a young brother inviting his elder brother in the street for a fistfight. I know a lot about that particular subject. Tension has been building for some time between Beanie Segal and Jay-Z and it has finally spilled over onto wax. Great music.

Tyra, you know I love you right?  Honestly though black face on ANTM?  Okay here is the story Tyra Banks decide it would be a good idea to transform the aspiring models on ANTM cycle 13 into biracial women for a photoshoot.  I doubt she intentionally made it look like she was putting these women in black face but if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck it's hard to convince me it's a cow.  Now she's facing a media backlash for the incident.  In my opinion it was just a bad move on her part but it has earned her the award of K&B of the day.

I first read that President Barack Obama has said the FED's will not be pursuing people selling marijuana in compliance with state laws. That's of course if you live in one of the 13 states that medical marijuana is legal. When I saw this I thought great the country has come a long way then I saw the list of the states and I was a little pissed. I saw a pattern in at least 10 of the 13 states listed. Not much of a minority presence. Then I had to ask myself was this just a way for white America not to get into trouble for using or selling marijuana? Just my opinion let me know yours.

IF YOU KNOW BETTER DO BETTER: FATHER CATCHES STEP DAUGHTER HAVING SEX

This is a very bizarre situation. A guy comes home from work hears comotion upstairs. Goes up stairs to his stepdaughter’s room and witnesses his 16-year-old stepdaughter having sex with her 18-year-old boyfriend. The guy leaves the room and grabs his gun and fist full of bullets. The teenage boyfriend pleads with the guy not to shoot him and what does the guy do? He shoots the teenager 4 times.



I have a little sister and I have a daughter on the way but I personally think this guy overacted. I think a stern talking to or even an ass whooping would've been sufficient. I have a feeling there is something more to this story. Check it out and let me know what you think about it.

K&B OF THE DAY: MEMPHIS CHILDREN HOME ALONE

After seeing this I was livid.  A mother and her sister leave a two and a three year old at home alone so they could take a friend home. A fire is starts in the home, neighbors hear the kids screaming and try to save them from the flames. One of the childen die and the other is currently in critical condition.

The part about this story that disgusted me the most was what the mother's sister had to say to the Fox news cameras.


“No, I really don’t because if they had been there by themselves, I don’t know if the boys set the house on for or somebody threw something in there to set it on fire. I really need to get in there to see if my purse burned up. I had my Food Stamp Card and everything in there.”

This video is a spoof for a exaggerated office party planned for a black male on Kwanzaa by white co-workers.  Believe it or not but the calendar with the word Darkie and a black faced wide eyed cartoon character given to the black male as the last present is actually real.  The character represented a tooth-paste brand called Darkie made by Hawley and Hazel which was purchased by Colgate-Palmolive who changed the name to Darlie toothpaste. WHO LISTENS TO THIS GARBAGE: GUCCI MANE DISSING JAY-Z

Fan or no fan it's undeniable that Jay-Z has one of the most stellar careers in any genre of music. I can see millions of reasons for a rapper to diss Jay-Z but skill or accomplishments is definitely not one of them. Then to have some one like Gucci Mane dissing him is crazy to me. Does Gucci Mane even have an album out? If so who listens to this garbage? Sho Nuff do what you do.

R&B singer Usher Raymond reportedly called law enforcement to report vandalism to a vehicle on his property allegedly committed by his wife Tameka Raymond. Where I’m from we don’t call 911 on a family member unless someone is shot, stabbed or bleeding pretty severely. That’s straight K&B dog. Tameka Raymond was not on scene by the time law enforcement arrived, but if she was and Usher got his wife AKA the mother of his child arrested I might not support his next album. If ya know better do better.

Honestly I don't know what's more K&B-ish.  The fact that 16 year old pop singer Miley Cyrus is attempting to rap or the fact that I honestly don't think it's all that bad.  I really expected it to be terrible but...she's on beat at least.
